Everytime I try to open an AutoCad dwg file I get an error message telling
me it's an invalild file format, why?

Firstly if you have Draw 7 SE the DWG import filter was not included in this
version of the package.
Secondly, you should use the import file dialogue, select the DWG filter and
the import the file, rather than the open file dialogue
Thirdly Draw 7 is quite an old program, you may be trying to import a later
version of the DWG format. I believe that Draw 7 only supports the R12 format
of DWG or earlier.
