I have a customer who has CorelDraw6 and says he cannot select individual
colors to print out spot saeparations. I have been on Corel since #2 and I
remember always having that options in the Print window.
If you have a 5 color design. Red, blue, green, yellow, black.
Select Print, Separations, select red, un-select all other colors. Print.
He says that option is not there.
What is he missing here???

Thank you,

Karen;

Two possible ... general ... areas of reasons I can think of. One would
be some variation on the theme of operator error, the other would be a
corrupt installation. Without more information, it's hard to tell which.

Operator error would fall under the heading of ...

Is the "Print Separations" check box checked?
Are the objects to be printed on printable layers? (Not, for instance, on
a guides layer by accident?) Are the layers set to BE printable?
Is the printer being printed to a PostScript printer capable of printing
separations? (This might mean the default printer, too.)
Is the printer driver installed and working correctly?

A munged installation would require a reinstall. It might mean damaged
dialog boxes or other program componenents.

But it's all grasping at straws, really. It's not something that should
happen.
