When I try to print a coreldraw graphic to my hewlett packard 692 c
printer i get an error message about halfway through the print job that
says lost communication with the printer. Does anyone have a solution?

make sure you have a two-way printer cable. Some parallel cables do not
allow two way communication which is necessary with some apps, when you
are dealing with color balances, etc.
