I just bought a "dead" pc (dead HD, actually). It came with all of the
software (CD's, Floppy's, etc) and the manuals. After installing a new HD and
Win98, I find that I can install everything except CorelDraw3.
The installation hangs up while it's checking for necessary HD space, which
I have loads of. The manual makes no mention of this problem, and I can't seem
to locate anything about it on Corle's web site.
After reading a few threads here, I get the impression that CorelDraw3 has
some difficulty installing to partitions larger than one Gig (and my new HD has
3 partitions, all of which are over 8 Gig). It's also set up with FAT32 if
that makes a difference.
Is there a work-around for this installation problem? Or should I just
turn the installation CD into a Christmas Tree ornament?
Thank you for any assistance.
