Converting CDR files

I had a copy of Corel Draw 3.0 on a laptop that just crashed. I have my
data backed up, but can no longer find the application. The only corel
product I still have is Corel Photohouse. I have Adobe Illustrator 9.0,
but I cannot read my CDR files. Is there any way to access these file
so I can copy the objects into new files in either photohouse or
Illustrator?

I believe I registered my copy of corel draw 3.0 (by mail), but I have
definitely lost the CD and any serial number information. Is their any
way to download the application from the net, or do I need to buy it
again?
I did backup corel draw to a zip disk at one time, I tried to run this
on my main PC and it said "[CorelDraw3] section or "DrawDir=" key not
found in WIN.INI. Cannot run CorelDraw! Is their any way to copy this
backup to my main PC and get it running?
