I encountered the following problems when installing the update on Corel
Draw Select Edition:

Assuming I didn't need Corel Draw Select anymore I removed it from the
harddisk with the deinstall routine. After this Corel 10 didn't work
properly anymore. I tried to remove it as well. Didn't work. AND I couldn't
install it anymore.

I removed all registry entries but somewhere there's a file where the path
to the program folder is kept and the installation always aborted with the
comment "Wrong signs in the path etc...".

Finally I formatted the hard disk, installed everything again, didn't remove
CorelDraw7 (It would be great if the program did this!) and it CorelDraw and
PhotoPaint has worked fine for me. No problems and I like the stylish look
of the program. So a few bugs may have to be removed but it's a good
program.

I can't say the same of R.A.V.E however. It's worse than a beta version of a
program and that's a real pity.
There are some aspects that are a nuisance however if you're not used to the
program like when your colour palet doesn't contain a colour and you want to
use the filling tool to change a colour and (of course) it never works. If
you know about this, it's no problem, but if you don't it drives you mad.
