Using VBA to change a specific text character

I'm new to VBA have no idea how to create scripts. I would like to create a
script to change a text character to subscript or superscript. I tried using
the mouse to record my script but alas it doesn't work.

Here are the parameters I am using 7 point text any font would like to
convert a selected character to subscript 10 points. Same thing for
superscript but with a vertical shift of -20%.
