There isn't a default shortcut for exit; however, you can assign Exit
WordPerfect to a hot key of your choice:
1 -- Choose Tools | Settings | Customize | Keyboards (tab)
2 -- In the Available Keyboards list, choose the keyboard you use as your
default, then choose Edit
3 -- In the Choose a Shortcut Key list, choose the key strokes you want to
use as a shortcut to Exit WordPerfect
3 -- In the Feature Categories list, choose File
4 -- In the Assign a Feature to the Shortcut Key list, choose Exit
WordPerfect, and click Assign Feature to Key
5 -- Close out of all dialogs, saving the changes as you go.

2 -- You may have inadvertantly removed the default Alt-F4 Exit from your CUA
keyboard.
3 -- The keyboard file may have become corrupted and dropped the Alt+F4 Exit
assignment by itself (my keyboards in WP6.1, 7, 8, and 9 have all become
corrupted in the past necessitating rebuilding my template keyboards--I use the
DOS keyboard, but I assume that CUA keyboards may get corrupted too).
4 -- Who knows why it didn't work before, but it does now? S--- happens
5 -- It's working now, right? So, where's the beef?
