Paradox 8 ver 8.00.302
We have a multitable form and various records give the error
"Record already locked by this session", while others can be edited.

It doesn't matter if anyone else is in Paradox on the network.

It's the same records every time (no matter how many people are using
the form, or who tries to edit the records)

There are no extraneous *.lck files hanging around.

All the tables have been verified.

The first record in the table is fine.

It doesn't matter when you choose edit in the table (I've tried other
records, that record, other fields, etc).

Help.

Did you set any filters? Are you using any OPAL code? Mayhaps a table cursor
or a setgenfilter?
In article <36F2A778...@cdc.gov>, xx...@cdc.gov says...

The most common cause to this message is that you are editing records both
through the form and by a tcursor in your ObjectPAL code at he same time,
but there are a couple bugs that can cause this. They are very hard to
recreate and should be easy to avoid.

Tutility's better, but most of us still don't trust the Verify option -
back up and rebuild is more certain.

However, Bertil's hint about tCursors is the most probably cause.
