Does anyone have any ideas on new table creation?

We are creating 2 temp tables on the INIT of a form. They both start with
"__" (double underscore) so that Paradox automatically cleans them up when
closed.

It is working successfully for all our clients, except one. For some reason
it will not create the tables for them. We have directed the creation to
the private directory (using the private alias) so there are not access /
rights issues.

This particular client is using Paradox 8, on Win NT 4 (SP 6).

Any ideas would be appreciated!

Thanks,
Carolyn

Did you double check that the private directory IS local and free of
restrictions? Can you create a table there manually?

Can they create anything else in the PRIV directory? It is possible in NT not to
have create rights in directories; even local ones.
