P9 (UK English version) and SP3 on Win95, 98, 2k:

Any report designed for A4 and printed to a Lexmark printer (T or S
series) causes the printer to go offline and demand legal paper.
Bringing the printer back online causes the document to print correctly
on A4. This only started after installing SP3.

The paper size is correctly set to A4 in the report, in the printer
setup and the printer driver. No other app causes this behaviour, not
even other Suite 2000 components. This happens both interactively and
through OPAL. Using printerSetOptions to set A4 doesn't help and printer
setup correctly shows the paper size as A4. Tried both the MS and
Lexmark drivers.

The same reports print just fine on HP printers.

Anyone else found this and know of a workaround? Anyone able to verify
this with SP4?

Dave,

Have you changed the units of measure for your report from inches
to centimeters? If so, and that didn't work, please search the
corelsupport.paradox9 group as this has been mentioned a number
of times.

Thanks for the quick reply, Liz.

The unit of measurement has always been centimeters.

Looking back at previous posts, it seems as if others have had this with SP3 and according to Bertil it's fixed in SP4.
