"Thank you for contacting Corel Technical Support. With regards to your
issue:
Unfortunately, WordPerfect 9 does not have the ability to print landscape
labels. This may be addressed in a future service pack."
It has not been resolved yet and this continues to be a problem for me. Has
this problem been accepted and is there any work underway to do something
about it?
First, I am deleting this message as it contains an attachment which is
strongly discouraged. However, the text of your message follows my
response and questions.
Have you tried creating a page of labels which has the height as 8.5 (or
8.25) inches and width 11 (or 11.69) inches? Reverse all the other
measurements. My experience is that this lets you print the labels
landscape.
Similarly, Avery includes several labels with a trailing L in their
names, For example, Avery 3259 comes in both L and P versions. Have
you tried editing one of these specific landscape labels to match your
target?

I missed this message earlier. WPWin9 DOES print landscape labels
properly. There are SOME printers on which it does not. As responded
to Peter Lairo, I can print his uploaded test file perfectly on both my
printers -- indeed on each I have never had a problem printing landscape
labels.
So let's try again. Which printer are you using? Which driver? Have
you tried any of the landscape labels provided by Avery? Have you tried
editing these landscape labels to match your label specification? Have
you tried starting from scratch to create labels using a "reversed"
definition, as Avery does for their listed labels -- that is a paper of
width 11/11.69inches and height 8.5/8.25 inches, with label
specifications to match?
What specific label do you wish to print landscape?
Or have we had this conversation before?

Well I have just tested your uploaded file on my Apple Laserwriter and
on my Lexmark Z51. On each printer, the print was perfect, for all 3
options: the default Avery definitions L7701 Landscape and L7702
Landscape, and the Leiz Spine Sleeve Wide, which I do not have available
in any of my label definitions.
As you also say, this prints out perfectly on the HP OfficeJet (T45)
printer. But not on your HP LaserJet 4+ or 4050. So I must ask you
where the problem really lies. If this prints on several other
printers, why is it a WP fault? What does HP say about this? With
which company should your disappointment lie???? May I suggest that
your "some odd reason" should be that it does NOT print properly on the
LaserJet 4+ or on the 4050, not that it does print properly on other
printers.
Have you tried alternate drivers for these printers? Or drivers of
different versions?

I live in Europe, so i use A4 size paper (no problem here). The AVERY
definitions are made for US labels and paper, so i cannot really use them :(
I've already tried reversing the measurements (lenght - width of page),
but that didn't help.

WPWin9 has an A4 label file WP_WP_A4.LAB. Do Format, Labels, [Change]
button, and you should find it listed. Two of the 3 labels you used in
your test document are included in that file.
