Not printing to selected tray

I have a new Kyocera FS-C5030DTN colour laser. When I try printing to
Tray2 it still picks up from the default Tray1.

I have tried the "Use printer properties from currently selected
printer" option but it takes no notice.

I am printing to a network fixed IP port from XP Pro. It works
perfectly when I use MS Word!

Any suggestions? My version is 12.0.0.288

I tried the registry edit in Charles Rossiter's 1/22/08 message
captioned "Print error" and it worked like a charm for WP on my machine
having decided that the manual feed tray on my Brother laser was the
default tray, but only in WP. The printer is shared on a network, and
all other programs on whichever machine worked properly except WP on the
HOST machine.

But I still don't know what was WRONG before I made WP regenerate the
registry entry for the print engine, but WordPerfect is printing
properly again. I daresay it would be imprudent to try poking around in
the registry to find what was different, but I'd really like to know
(don't tell the kitten I'm so curious).
