LOST MY UPGRADE TO WP 12 AFTER COMPUTER CRASHED

I recently had to reinstall my Family Pack 5 (with WP 11) due to my computer crashing. After Fry's reinstalled the OS,  I brought my computer home and began to reinstall all of my applications. Luckily, my files were saved on an external hard drive, but not the applications. Before the computer crashed, I bought ($94.98) a download upgrade version of WP 12 complete with Purchase Key and Activation Code. Well, now I am up the proverbial creek without a paddle. I have tried to contact WP to re-download the WP 12. No help there. They replied that they no longer offer support for WP 12. I feel like I have been shafted. All of these years, I have been a faithful, avid support of WP. I started with it in the 80's with the DOS version, continued in the 90's with the ever-changing Windows version. And now here we are. Guess I am stuck with MS Word, which I hate, but have to use to deal with other computer users. Any suggestions from anyone?? I have all the documentation stating I purchased WP 12. Thanks so much.

P.S. The reason my computer gave me the blue screen of death was because I bought and tried to install the WP Office X3.
