I sometimes copy text from web sites and paste it into the middle of a
WP document. But lines from the copied text is sometimes separated by
one-and-a-half spaces, instead of a single space. This alters the
spacing between the lines of all of the ensuing WP text.

The code for the spacing appears to be invisible. Thus, activating
"reveal codes" won't reveal the code. Is there a way of removing the
code so that the lines are separated by a single space?
