Anyone know how to stop P9 from automatically finishing my alias names for
me in the Open dialogs?

When I go to 'open' something, I like to type the name of the alias and
either finish with the object name, or hit enter and cause the Open dialog
to navigate to the appropriate folder from where I can then 'pick' my file.
But with P9, when you begin to type an alias, such as ":m4ext", Paradox
jumps to the ":m4ext:" alias before I get time to finish typing. So, what
happens is, when I really want to go to my :m4extD: alias, I end up in my
:m4ext: alias because P9 recognized the first 5 chars as a valid alias
before I can type in the 6th char. Very annoying!!

The only workaround is to stop typing the alias.

But Bertil, That's such a drag! I use the keyboard for most everything -
the mouse is too slow.
