Pdox7 / Pdox11 Help !

Hello !

I'm using PDOX 7 since a long time, and, because of the necessity of using
WIN XP, i've bought PDOX 11.

Some of my tools don't work fine...

For example :
1° I use OLE Fields, in PDOX7, you can view the entire document without
opening it in it's server, i can't in PDOX11 ! Anybody have an idea ?
2° Il Formated Memo Field, in PDOX7, i use this : "
winPostMessage(ap.windowHandle(),winGetMessageID("WM_COMMAND"),7903,0)" to
get a rule for formating my text, now it doesn't work in PDOX11...

Can you help me ?

In later versions of Paradox, the text formatting toolbar seems to have
been restricted to Design mode use. Not to long ago, I posted a file
containing similar functionality. I'll see if I can find it tonight,
local time.

I can, when inserting the ole objects in Paradox 11. But not with old
ole objects created 5-7 years ago.

I'm talking about ole object made 24 hours ago... ;o)))
My problem is that I can view the first page of word document, for example,
but, for a 20 pages documents, I can't !
With PDOX7, it was very interesting, because you don't need to open the
document with it's server...

I can turn the question in another way : do I have to change PDOX7 for
PDOX11 to work with WIN XP ?

In fact, my tests with PDOX7 Runtime on WINXP shows problems of view, for
example, buttons on dialog boxes won't be visible...

If you know a simple solution to use PDOX7 on WINXP, I would be happy,
because, I'm not interested in PDOX11 new fonctionality like WEB ressources
!

PDOX7 is all I need in fact, since I work with it for almost 5 or 6 years.

Start by setting the compatibility to NT4 for P7's start icon. That will fix
the button issue and may fix your other problems.
