Hello Everybody,
I am trying to reference the above property for a list box on a form so that
I can figure out the selection number of the item clicked on.
I have code that looks like this in the Pushbutton method for the listbox
'LocationField':
I = self.ItemIndex
msgInfo("Location Index Number",string(I))

When this runs, I get an error message saying:

"You have tried to reference the object named "ITEMINDEX" from the object
named 'LocationField'. The referenced object could not be found. The name is
either incorrect or the object is not visible from 'LocationField'."

Has anybody out there ever used "ITEMINDEX"? If yes, could you explain the
syntax/context for its use please?
Thanks in advance,

Yuri Korin

pushButton method of a listbox???? A listbox does not have a pushbutton
event.

Which kind of listbox is this? The one you get by changing the
DisplayType property for a Paradox field object, or the listbox from the
ActiveX toolbar? ItemIndex relates to the ActiveX control (also named
NWC - Native Windows Controls - in the help files andd in Paradox 7 they
are called OLE controls on the toolbar)
