The four entries made by the mfg, were not lost when I reinstalled the
program. I would like to be able to backup the words that I enter into
quickwords and quickcorrect. Can you tell me where the file is for the
entries made by the mfgr?

Thank you,

Janice Marie Lorton-Cromwell

The "four entries" you reference are the default QuickWords ... which are
in QW9EN.WPT.

The QuickCorrect entries are in WT9US.UWL.

The files are not overwritten during an un/reinstall, so as not to lose
customization.

I am not sure what is meant by: <mfg> and <mfgr>.

Under Win2K I find the QuickWords file at:
C:\Documents and Settings\<user>\Application
Data\Corel\PerfectExpert\10\Custom WP Templates\qw10en.wpt
- and QuickCorrect (and user word list) here:
C:\Documents and Settings\<user>\My Documents\Corel User Files\WT10UK.UWL

Well: you are smarter than I, to work that out.
Still, I have noticed that before.-)}
