Have WordPerfect 2000 (WordPerfect 9), and found a CD for an upgrade to
WordPerfect 12 Suite. Can I just run the upgrade, or do I have to uninstall
2000 first?

Just run the install of the WPWin 12 Suite. Do NOT accept the install
option that deletes the old version -- instead install in parallel in a
separate directory structure.

Then in 12 do Tools, Settings, Files and set the same default document
directory that you use with 9. In this way you can interchangeably use
either version with your files.

To elaborate on Jack's good answer, your Upgrade disk is actually a full
version of WP12. A new feature of WP12 is the ability to "replace", at
your option, your older WPx with WP12. We generally do not recommend
doing this as you may find some reason to use your older version if
something in WP12 is not working as you expected.
