I have a technical report I created in WordPerfect 9. It has several
color figures. I am trying to publish it to a PDF file with WP9. When
I try to load the PDF file, Adobe Acrobat gives me an error "Dash
arguments are invalid" on pages that contain figures of technical
graphs. These graphs were created in MATLAB and pasted into WP. I
believe the problem has something to do with the grid or line tick
labels on the graph. How can I fix this problem? If I could convert
the graphics to bitmaps, I am pretty sure it would work, but how do I do
this?

How about pasting the graphs into a Presentations drawing, then saving
the drawing as either a color or gray-scale (if it is a black and white
graph) .WPG file. Then insert the WPG file into your document.

Jim,

Thanks for the reply. You solution would probably work, but the report
is pretty large and there are a large amount of graphs. It would be
pretty time consuming to do this. I was hoping for more of a "quick
fix", but I may resort to your technique if I don't find anything else.

Thanks again,
Brent
