You can install WPOffice12, and also keep your version 10. A couple of
things to watch
-- Make sure that you do not install to the identical paths; install
folders WordPerfect10 and WordPerfect12 would be fine; folder
WordPerfect for both would cause problems.
-- You may be prompted to migrate your settings from WPWin10 to
WPWin12. Answer 'No' if you are going to keep WPWin10.

No problem uninstalling WPWin12. You will need to do a refresh/repair
of your WPWin12 just to make sure that all the registry entries
correctly refer to WPWin12.
To do the repair, close all WPO12 programs, and put the installation
CD#1 in its drive, and start it. Click on the WordPerfect 12 item to
initiate installation. You will soon be prompted for what action to
take. Choose repair.

In earlier versions of WPWin, the equivalent was to run PFReg.exe, which
re-wrote the Windows registry entries.
Hopefully you got ChrisD's correction to my post -- should have referred
to WPWin10 (not WPWin12) first time.
You had a question about service packs in your first post. The answer is
maybe. Check your version number of WP12, 12.0.0.??? The initial
release is 12.0.0.238. ServicePack1 is . . .288.
BTW, that education edition has a nice bonus, Paradox database.
