Possessives

I just upgraded from WP10 to WP12 and I am shocked to find that the
apostrophe problem is still not solved. This was introduced into WP10 by a
patch. I heard it was never fixed in WP11, but I really thought by now...

If I insert a word into the User Word List: Say *Alfeo* then the possessive
form *Alfeo's* triggers an error mark. Adding that form into the UWL does no
good at all.

What did I pay all that upgrade money for if WP cannot fix a stupid bug like
that?

Is there a fix?

Dave,

The fix for this bug in WPWin12 is the same as in WPWin11 and WPWin10.

Do Windows Start, WordPerfect Office 12, Utilities, Spell Utility.
Select the file WP12EN.MOR and add the word 'Alfeo' to the main
dictionary. Thereafter you should not be prompted even for possessives
of 'Alfeo'.
