Hello,

My friend has a WP 5.1 DOS version running on his old PC with WIN 98

All was going fine until the Hard Drive crashed. After he resurrected it,
all is now working except that he cannot print from WP 5.1 anymore. He can
print fine from all other programs except WP51.

When he tries printing, the printer makes a buzz, then he gets an error
message asking to press Shift +F7 , 4 which is the printer control When
he goes
there it gives him an error message that there is a file missing. That file
name
is LH.PCF

What is that file? He tried reinstalling WP5.1 and still gets the same
error
message. He went to Windows 98 support and couldn't find that LH.PCF
missing file anywhere.

Anyone has an idea what it is? We would appreciate your help.

Thank you!

Roger

It would help to know *exactly* which printer your friend is trying to use -
please provide the fullest possible name: not just a brief version of the
name such as "HP 1000," which can mean any of three different printers, but
"HP LaserJet 1000" or something similar. It would also help if your can
friend can say whether he installed the printer driver while installing
WordPerfect, and exactly what the name of the printer driver is (see
Shift-F7, Select, and tell us the name of the driver).
