I added a few minor aps to MSOffice, which runs parallel and usually very
nicely with Corel, including the interface for Word to Outlook Address Book
(which could mean it IS a mapi issue??)(but fixmapi.exe has been run with no
success).
I tried uninstalling and reinstalling first the Address book, then Corel
Office then MS Office, reinstalling Corel without it first, but still hangs.
The data is safe and being transferred to another computer to be turned into
a csv file, just in case (which is why I am not panicking. There's always
outlook and Word) but the WP 8 address book is the easiest, most comfortable
interface I know. Can anyone help me get this turkey back on its feet? Note:
I also have but do not use WP (Corel office) 10 or is that 2000? Actually I
think I have them both, but I don't like the 2k address book, so it isn't
installed.

I assume I can find mapi32 in 2002 or 2000. I doubt in 8. I will try that.
By the way, bringing over mapi32 from a w98 laptop produced the same result.
Thanks.
