Hi,

We have WP11 on two XP home edition computers, and print on a Samsung
ML-2150 and a HP Laserjet 6L.

Both printers will not print red-line properly, and any help would be
greatly appreciated.

The HP 6L prints the redline so light it's almost invisible. There are no
settings in the printer properties which I can find to set it to not print
in color. I tried every setting that looked likely to help, and I reduced
the resolution from 600 to 300 I think, which made the red slightly more
grainy, but still too faint, and Xerox it once and the redlining is gone.

The Samsung ML-2150 has an option in Properties to not "print in color", but
it will not retain this setting, no matter how many times and ways I have
tried. So "print in color" must be unchecked for each print job. I tried
setting it not just in the WP print menu, but also in Windows printer
properties. I called Corel tech support and they said it was a known
problem in WP but offered no help.

This is driving people here nuts as they need the redline for legal
documents. Can you help with a good solution/patch/driver/workaround? Does
anyone have a good macro which will force the Samsung and or the HP to not
"print in color"? Has anyone successfully printed redline on these
computers with WP11 and Windows XP?

Thank you very much!

Art,

Please do not multi-post. This is one of about five posts. Please stick to
the thread being created in office11-other.

Thanks.
