Many software companies sponsor such boards. Microsoft, Corel
(obviously), Abobe, Amicus, HP, and others, and I find such board very
useful and informative. I'd be interested in learning why Sage shut
down the Timeslips board. Frankly, when deciding to upgrade to Ver 11,
I relied on there being such a board for informal support.
Is there any interest in starting an informal Timeslips group, e.g., in
yahoogroups?

However, as you know, Corel went to moderated groups & users complained
about *that*, but otherwise there is little way to keep discourse civil.
Please contact me if it makes sense to create a Usenet group -- if there
isn't one already -- but there must be a significant group of committed
users *first* who are willing to post/respond on it. It is not that
complicated to create a newsgroup, however.
