Anyone know how much of the legal suite that ships with WP Law Office 2k
works with W2K terminal services?
I've got the WP 2000 SP4 CD installed and relatively happy, but I haven't
attempted the SP3 level legal CD yet. I have users asking for their
SaveGets and so on, so I'm tempted.
A. Is there a SP4 for the legal CD, or just the SP3 avail via the web?
B. Any official party line from Corel on legal and WTS?
C. Anyone do it anyway, and have info to share?
The add-on legal components install from the disk you first got, NOT
from a web download. I'm not sure what the SP3 is that you are
referring to. They should be added on to the WPO2000 Pro SP4 install
you've already done.
I'm afraid I have no specific info on anyone using those components with
TS, however.

Deborah - I do not think that using the third CD for the Legal Package would
be a problem.
It is intended for single users though as it comes with the organizer
version of Amicus Attorney Hot Docs, and a bunch of other stuff.
I made the mistake of recommending someone purchase Amicus on the strength
of my experience with it in the Legal Suite. The full version of Amcius does
not have Hot Docs - so you pay $400.00 for Amicus and then have to shell out
more for Hot Docs at $300.00 plus, to get to where I was with WP Legal.
His users will not be able to link the Amicus version to other users as it
is strictly single user. As a sole practitioner, however it is all that I
used up to now - see my next post.

Thanks, but also thank you for not noting -- as I did too late -- that
the post I just responded to was from April!!
The thing the full version of Amicus gets you is a database you can
share across a network (if you get the "team links" or similar) which is
important for some offices, not for others. I know a few solo's that
run the full version because they have an assistant & a secretary and
want them fully plugged-in .... and I know a TON of solo's who run the
WP8 version and steam along happily on the integration designed for a
single person.
All a matter of specific need, but I think that someone wanting to use
TS probably has a larger office & may want to consider the team links
version anyway.
