Hi all,
I have an install issue with the Law office version of Office 2000.
I called corel about getting the SP4 CDs and was told that to install
the lawoffice version I would install SP4 as normal then install the 3rd
CD (law Office Stuff) as before. I went down and picked up the CDs and
did the install. When I did this SP4 installed fine but when I ran the
Law office setup it would hang or gave me a "not enough disk space"
error. There is 5 Gig free on C so I know that is not the problem. It
seems to have a problem with installing Hot Docs which we use here with
Amicus. I managed to worked around it installing Hot Docs from it's
install and manually giving it the paths. It seems to work but I wonder
if it's the same as the CD install or not as I guessed at the paths.
Anyone else using SP4 with Law Office?

I have eliminated one problem by changing a setting in my
newsreader; this is an unwanted consequence.-(}

I am using it with SP4. There is an article in the knowledge Base about
this. You have to install all the legal apps except hot docs form the
install that pops up when you put in the legal cd. Then you install hot
docs from the hot docs setup on the cd directly. Set the directories to
reflect the new directories used by SP4. That is all I recall off hand, but
as I said, you can look up the specific instructions in the knowledge base.
