We are a company running a lot of Windows-95 Computers in a Novell-Net.
On some clients there is installed Word-Perfect-Suite 7. We're working
with Quattro-Pro many Years an so there are some old files, I ve to
convert to the latest version with every update. Three of this files are
very large and to delete them and build them new will use hours of work.
But now two of these files, after they 've been converted to Quattro-Pro
7 do funny thinks. So they allow division by zero (with stupid results),
there are rows collered, which never been collered etc. But this is only
on two workstations. On other statsions these files are all right.
Is there anybody out there with an idea???

Thanks

Since you are using Quattro Pro 7.0 I suspect a printer/math-coprocessor
conflict. Try this and see if it works.
1. Click Start | Run and on the Open line type: sysedit and press enter.
2. In the Autotexec.bat add a line that states:
Set 87=n
3. Save and exit the System Configuration Editor.
4. Shut Down and Restart the computer.
5. Run Quattro Pro and retrieve one of these files that were doing weird
things. Is is all better?

Some of the newer Printer drivers access the math coprocessor, and so
does Quattro Pro. The Set 87=n, disables the math coprocessor and
therefore works around the problem. Other options you may want to try,
include using a different printer driver and updating an early release
of Quattro Pro to at least the 7.0.2 release. To check the program
release, launch Quattro Pro and click on Help and About Corel Quattro
Pro. To order the update for the $9.95(US) cost for shipping and
handling, call 1-800-772-6735.

I hope this helps!
