We're currently supporting a user base of about 80 on Windows 3.11,
WP 6.1 Suite, and SoftSolutions for Windows (Novell 4.11 network). This
works pretty well, except that our users want to have everything in the
world open at one time . . .

So . . . we'd like to move up to a 32 bit system like 95 or NT, but
SoftSolutions has some major issues with the whole 32 bit deal. Any
advice for either (a) riding this tiger OR (b) moving on to greener
pastures. We've seen a very fascinating array of DDEML errors.

I haven't used the 32-bit version of SoftSolutions personally. However,
I have a friend who has worked with it quite a bit. She said that it
definitely lost some of its functionality when incorporated into
GroupWise (thanks, again, Novell). In previous versions, it was great!

I'll be posting to a previous message on my experience with DocsOpen and
WP80 over the next few months (beginning the last half of January -
hopefully).

WorldDocs (I think that's the name) is another software about which
I've read some good reports from Users.

My law firm (13 lawyers) switched from Soft Solutions to Worldox last
September. We are running Windows 95 over a Novell Network. When we used
Soft Sol on Win95, we had constant problems. Now, we have support time
left over each month.

Thanks for the info, Frank. It's always good to know of others
experiences. Yours seems to confirm my impression from others.
