P8 install problems

Paul,
I don't know how we did it, but my P8 works just like my old P7
for Windows 3.11. If you remember, I'm the guy that called you Tuesday
evening at about 6:00 pm and spent over an hour getting your help.
Believe it or not, I can now find the ANS.DB in the PRIVATE
folder. Perhaps when I shut the system down and reopened the system and
reopened P8, the changes in the registry were enough to correct my
system's corrupt DLL file. I don't know but I just thought you may be
interested in knowing this.
My next project is to see if the ANS.DB will link successfully
with WP8. I do use a query answer to make up membership cards for
several groups I belong to. I'll keep you updated.
