PP8 and Front Page 98

I recently purchased FP 98 and found that its graphics editor did not do
what I need. So, I purchased Corel PhotoPaint 8. When I made the
prefered editor change in FP 98 to point to PP8, PP8 can't seem to
understand the directory where the TEMP file is located.

C:\FRONT PAGE\TEMP

When PP8 comes up, it says that it can't find directory C:\FRONT
followed by the error msg. Can't find file \PAGE\TEMP\355.TMP

It would appear that PP8 is confused by the space character in the
C:\FRONT PAGE\ directory name. I translates the directory as:
C:\FRONT
and the file name as:
PAGE/TMEP/355.TMP

How about it, engineers. What's up?

Bill,

Can you try specifying the path as a short filename:

C:\Frontp~1\Temp

(You may have to get the actual short name from the properties of the
folder.)

This is something we've not heard of before, and would appreciate your
letting us know if the above works.
