My question is, can I purchase the new Mac version of PP8 (when
available in June) as an upgrade if I am a registered user/owner of
PP7+ for Windows, which I have been using on my PC?

I don't think Corel has yet set the pricing/upgrade paths. But in the
past, you could upgrade from just about anything so your chances look
pretty good.
