Dear Netters,

I have experienced problems with PP7 (version 7.373) with opening files
which have been saved earlier (in 'cpt' format). I am getting strange
vertcal gray bars at the left borders of photo objects or text. I have
noticed that there is an update from Corel which may just fix this problem.
The patch file is "pp7468.exe" that I have downloaded from Corel's www site.
After unzipping it, when I try to run the patch.exe file in the
C:\corel\programs directory I get the following error message:

" Applying MODIFY File Patch for 'PHOTOPNT.EXE'

ERROR ept0036: old File not found. However, a file of the same name was
found. No update done since file contents do not match"

I believe that the Photopnt.exe and Pntintl.dll files installed on my
hard-disk are the original versions supplied with the CorelDraw 7 suite CDs,
because I have not run any updates before for these files.

Does anyone have any suggestions to solve this problem?

Thanks.

The .468 patch is intended to be applied to version 7.467, which is a
patch supplied only as an entire CD. You'll have to contact Customer
Service to obtain that, and then apply the downloadable patch.
