... I am trying to get used to using a new scanner and this new version of
PhotoPaint... have only used Photoshop in the past.
I scanned a 4"x4" color photo into PhotoPaint9 (using a Umax Astra 2000U
scanner -- at 600dpi) and saved it as a .cpt file and as a .jpg.
The image is larger than the monitor...
I need to use the photo smaller (about 1"x1") in a brochure... so I figured
out how to reduce it in PhotoPaint9 ... but the file size still is more than
28.9 megs as a .cpt and more than 10.9MB as a .jpg!!!
Can anyone help me figure out how to reduce the size .. of both the image
and the file size?
