Blue screen matte plug-in?

I've used Digital Dominion's Cinematte plug-in with Photoshop, but it
totally implodes on my copy of Corel Photo-Paint 8.

What I need to do is combine images shot against a color screen with a
background image. I'm not really wedded to a blue- or green-screen approach;
I just don't want to be sitting here clicking about a gazillion times on the
magic wand.

Would another plug-in possibly work?
