Menu Bar Gone - Paint 7

I keep losing the menu bar on top. After I open a file from the
file-->open menu, the file opens but then all the menu commands are
gone. The only way I've found to get the menu back is to reinstall
paint.

Any suggestions?

Delete the pntmenu.cfg file. This will reset your menu.

I had this problem, if you right click on the toolbar, you can bring up the menu
configuration window. There is a reset button here.
