Please Help

Hi all:

I have a problem I just can't seem to fix.
When opening a .gif or .jpg by double clicking from explorer Photo
Paint is opened and
the image is displayed...no problem.
BUT if I double click on another image, a NEW instance of Photo Paint
is opened and
the image is displayed it it.
Now it used to be that any new image selected as described above would
be displayed
in the already started instance of Photo Paint, as I think it should
be.

I've treid everything I know how to do but all to no avail.

So my question is:
Does anyone know how to configure what (registry, Photo Paint, ini
files ???) so that
any file opened via double click will be opened in an already opened
instance of Photo
Paint and NOT star a new one.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
