I need some help fixing up a photo. It is of a Pomeranian. I need the photo
fixed up for some posters because the dog is missing but I have almost no
experience working with photos. The colors are off for him right now. He is
supposed to be a lighter brown. Anyone who can help me with this I would
really appreciate it. I want to make a webpage and some posters for him as
soon as possible. http://www.valkyrie.net/~galaxy/queequeg.GIF

Thank you
Galaxi

It's hard to advise without seeing the photo, however, here's a few
things to try. Start with Image -> Adjust -> Auto Equalize. That will
make sure your photo uses the full dynamic range possible. After that,
if the image looks dark in the midtones, use Image -> Adjust -> Gamma.
Adjusting the Gamma slider can brighten without affecting the highlights
and shadows. If the color balance looks off, then try either Image ->
Adjust -> Color Balance or Hue/Saturation/Lightness. Hope that helps.
