Burnout is a psychological response to long-term exhaustion and
diminished interest. It may take months or years to recover. A
complete mental and physical collapse can take place if not careful.
It's important to note that burnout is not the same as depression,
though there are shared characteristics that blur the distinction.
When exhaustion of any kind occurs a person is unable to relate to the
circumstances and situation such arise that may lead to dangerous
consequences. Frustration and exhaustion goes hand in hand. If you are
exhausted then you can easily get frustrated.
