probl. w/ graphical installation interface

Hi,

I tried to install Corel Linux on a PC with
a LCD display. When I start the installation,
the monitor is set to a low resolution which
doesn't fit to the GUI resolution - I can only
see a part of the information
Is there any way to change the resolution used
by the installation routine, or can I do a text-
based instillation?!
Any help would be appreciated!
