Is there a source that explains the best settings for various PDF print jobs
(grayscale, color, etc.)? Or, can we suggest a cop-out and tell users to use
the specific printer's PDF job option file?

Apparently, something in the last line of the encoding in your original
post caused it to be parsed as quoted text so the file appeared to be
incomplete when decoding.
I saved the original message as a text file and decoded it with
TotalCommander.
Thanks Eric, that's a good start. Just don't get me started with prologue
vs. epilogue...

You still using Gravity? If so, it may be simply a Gravity issue since
that's what I'm using, and so far, only you and I seem to be unable to
decode the UUencoded version.

You mean that mass of wall to wall characters? If so, I'm using
Thunderbird, and I didn't see anything comprehensible.
