Is the trim command still available in Painter anywhere?

The command would trim the excess area of a floater outside of a selection.

I solved it... I just lassoed the area and floated it, and deleted the
original parts I didn't want.

anyone know why trim was taken out (if so)?

Why doesn't Painter handle the apply mask command like PhotoShop in
Painter 9.1? (Apply mask in Photoshop deletes the areas that aren't
visible on screen, but Painter leaves that behind.)
