After researching this issue and looking up the notes from your previous
call, I have noticed they following:
You had a major OS crash on your C:Drive(Windows was not functioning
properly), you re-installed your OS to your D:Drive(Leaving the other
corrupted version of Windows on your C:\Drive, then you did not re-install
painter nor download or install any service packs for windows 2k.
I would recommend cleaning up your operating system, having a corrupted copy
of windows on your C:Drive that does not fuction properly could cause some
crashing on your machine. If your D:drive has the copy of windows that you
are using, then there is no need to have the old corrupted version of
windows on your C:drive.
I would also recommend you access www.windowsupdate.com so you can download
and install the latest service packs for your copy of windows.
Finally, try uninstalling your painter 7 from your machine(through add
remove programs in your control panel) and then search for any old Painter
application files and remove them. Next re-install painter to a new location
on your harddrive.
