Apple G4 dual 1ghz with 1.5 gigs ram. Using key command (command +spacebar)
causes Painter 7 to quit unexpectedly. Choosing Zoom tool from palette does
not seem to. Anyone else? Any solutions?

TIA
Jim

Hi,

Using WinXP Home and Painter 7.1.357 (with patch installed),
Ctrl/Command+Spacebar does nothing. It neither activates the Magnifier
tool nor does it crash Painter 7.1.357.

Try using the "M" key instead, to activate the Magnifier tool and either
click in the image to zoom in in increments specified in Edit >
Preferences > General, the Magnifier Increments field, or click and hold
to zoom in continuously. Hold down the Alt/Option key and click in the
image to zoom out in specified increments, or click and hold to zoom out
continuously.

You can also use the Scale slider in the lower left corner of the image
window, or

Highlight the percent number to the right of the scale slider and type
the percent you want, or

Use Ctrl/Command++ to zoom in or Ctrl/Commend+- to zoom out.
