Painter ix defaults

I am trying out Painter ix. How do you go back to initial factory default
settings? In my ignorance I don't like some of the settings I have made but
do not know how to undo them all.

Hi Ina,

If you are just wanting to restore your non-default brush settings back to
their default values, choose 'Restore All Default Variants' from the Brush
Selector Bar fly-out menu.

To restore everything to factory defaults, hold down the shift key whilst
starting/launching Painter IX and click the appropriate button in the
resulting dialog. Be careful to backup any custom 'user' resources first.
