I have the original version Painter Classic. Will it work with OS X Panther?

I haven't tried it with Panther but it worked in Jaguar for me.

The original Painter Classic (pre-Painter 7) is a MacOS 9 application,
and will run under Classic mode in MacOS X Panther.

The latest version, named "procreate Painter Classic", runs as a native
MacOS X application under MacOSX 10.1 and later (including Panther).

Mike yes it will work though it is the older version based on Painter 5. It
just runs in Classic mode. The new version that comes with Wacom tablets is
an OS X piece of software.
I teach Painter Classic as well as Wacom tablet use at:
http://www.eclecticacademy.com/
I have added to the lessons to also include the older version of Classic as
well as the full version of Painter.

Thanks Imaging Dev, I thought Corel had reported the program to work native
under OS X. I'm going to try to grab a copy. I'm wondering why they didn't
just call it "Painter Classic II"?

Not the original Painter Classic, which is based on Painter 5 (as Ed
Wiser pointed out).
