I love Artist Oils but I can't find a round in them. All the artist oils
options paint like a flat. Does anyone know of a way to get artist oils to
paint round? I can't believe they would be dumb enough not to have the
option of it. Flats and rounds are kind of standard don't you think. It
makes painting details a pain in the neck. I know you can use the older
rounds but they don't have the same affect as artist oil.

Hi,

Unless someone knows of another way, I think the closest you'll get is
to change the brush profile to Dull Profile (left profile in the second
row down from the top in the Brush Controls' Size section). If you hold
your cursor very still over the profile buttons, their names will
display in a couple of seconds, as long as you have Tool Tips turned on
(Help > Show Tool Tips).

If your brush size is small enough, the beginning of the brushstroke
looks somewhat rounded.

I'd love to be able to use Captured Dab custom variants based on
Artist's Oils.

A couple of additional requests for enhancements to Painter IX (or
Painter X)!
