How to remove inside backround

I am using Knockout 1.5 and love it. One thing I haven't been able to figure
out is how to remove a backgound that is inside the the image. For example,
a tite or a doughnut. I can remove the outside background, but can't figure
out how to remove the center. It is probably a simple answer, I am just not
that familiar with this software.

you just have to mask out that area, too, just like you did on the outside
of the object.
